  3. The CHIRKN activity sheet provides an opportunity for students to complete
  4. a piece of research using the Castles CD ROM, gathering information, text,
  5. illustrations and photographs from the appropriate sections.
  6.  
  7. Establishing a 'point of view' for their newspaper encourages students to
  8. build up a clear picture of the political situation before starting their 
  9. newspaper front page. As well as illustrations, students can use the text
  10. from each cameo to provide quotations from the various people at Chirk.
  11. Encourage them to extract this text from the appropriate page, edit it, and
  12. insert it in their newspaper in order to develop higher levels of IT 
  13. capability.
